WalterCon is the official conference for the Haiku Operating System developer and user community. It is an annual event that gathers members of the Haiku community as well as anyone interested in the Haiku Project. It provides an ideal opportunity to learn about the Haiku operating system, discuss development with the developers, and exchange ideas about the future of the project. It is also a great place to meet the community face-to-face, and have some fun too!

Haiku is a project made up of volunteers who share the common goal of creating and promoting an open source operating system for personal computing inspired in the BeOS: the Haiku Operating System. Haiku is currently under development and making steady progress towards its first release.
